Subscriptions are charged by Stripe, activate the moment payment confirms, and stop when you tell the billing portal to stop. The method, the nine evidence gates, every model-construction lesson, the data room and the public track record cost nothing and always will. Most of it needs no account at all; the position ledger needs a free account, which is a username and a password.

Checkout is tied to a GioModel username. If you are not signed in when you press Subscribe, you are sent to the Portfolio page to create an account, and checkout resumes for the plan you chose.
Card entry runs on Stripe's secure payment page. Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes never reach GioModel servers and are never stored here. GioModel keeps only the Stripe customer identifier that links your account to your Stripe record.
When Stripe confirms payment it notifies the site directly, and the plan activates automatically — no manual step, no waiting for the owner to approve anything. Your plan status then appears in the Portfolio account panel.
Cancellation is self-serve. You never have to ask permission or wait for a reply.

That button opens the Stripe billing portal for your customer record. It is Stripe's own interface, not a GioModel form, and it is where the subscription actually lives.
Cancel the subscription in the portal. No email is required, nothing has to be approved by the owner, and there is no retention flow designed to slow you down. The same portal is where you update the card on file or download invoices.
When you cancel, access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. The subscription is not cut off mid-month and the remaining days are not automatically refunded — you keep what you bought until it expires, then the plan lapses. Beyond that: if you were charged in error, charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged for a plan you never received, email the owner and it will be refunded. That is not a discretionary favour, it is the stated position. Requests outside those cases are read and answered by a person rather than a policy engine, so if something has genuinely gone wrong, say so.
If a renewal fails, Stripe retries on its own schedule and emails you about the card. Paid features lapse if the renewal never completes; your account, your positions and your history stay exactly where they are and reappear the moment a payment succeeds.
Moving between Forecasts and Portfolio is done through the same Stripe billing portal, which applies the standard proration for the period you are in. Nothing about your account or your saved positions changes.
Prices can change, and a change is posted on the site before it applies to any renewal. Your current price holds until then, and you can cancel before that renewal instead of accepting it. No change is ever applied to a period already paid for.
Cancelling stops the charge and leaves the free account intact, including everything in your ledger. Deleting the account removes it and the data keyed to it entirely. They are separate requests — cancel in the Stripe portal, and email the owner to delete. See privacy for exactly what deletion removes.
A subscription buys timing, not a different standard of proof. It gives you today's frozen numbers before the 30-day delay elapses. It does not move an evidence gate, unlock a hidden signal, create an advisory or fiduciary relationship, or turn research into investment advice. Models publish which gates they have and have not passed, and one that has not cleared them is not approved for directional deployment regardless of what anyone paid.
